Do you know where your drinking water comes from?

The Drinking Water Resilience Interactive Project or DRIP, is a Web site designed to show how the microscopic and macroscopic organisms living within a river basin ecosystem play a role in the resilience of drinking water. It also shows how urban development has an influence on drinking water. Use the modules to understand the reliance hierarchy and how all of the factors contribute to drinking water resilience.

Students can follow the modules in order as a Web quest to master key vocabulary and content of the hydrosphere standards. Following each module, students can test their understanding with a short quiz.
